Hello creative people. I am writing this new blog to encourage those who may wish to express themselves creatively with our new products on www.besmusicgroup.com. I suggest exploring the Beamz By Flo and any of the Aluphone bells. Those are great for spoken word artists/poets and or anyone wishing to express themselves musically. And of course of of the African drums and cajones are great also, although I would recommend some type of formal study.
When I play music on a turntable or playing a musical instrument, it feels like meditation to me. This is especially true when I drum. One experience I had a year ago was when myself and some friends were playing our drums on The Detroit Riverwalk. One of my friends notice toddler dancing. At first I didn't notice him, but his older brother. When brought my attention to the toddler in his stroller shaking is hip, waving his hand and smiling, it reminded me of my now decease mother, who did the exact same thing when she was confined to a wheelchair. We called it her "wheelchair" dance. This convinced me that her spirit was dancing once again through this baby boy. Thus the power of music and rhythm. This experience solidified the primary purpose of my life. Influencing and inspiring people through music. Even if it is a baby boy in a stroller. Make beautiful music and write beautiful poetry. Peace out. Musically yours, Gerry C
